DCFIT has 3 locations: Benjamin Banneker Park (Nera Eats Falls Church Metro), East Potomac Park, DC (Near the golf course) and Bethesda, MD (Parking lot accross from the Barnes and Noble). We are startin at 8:00, but will be moving to 7:00 starting 6/17.

Directions to the locations: Benjamin Banneker Park (VA): 1701 N. Van Buren St. Arlington, VA 22205 (Although Van Buren St is the mailing address, DCFIT actually meet on the other side of the park off N. Sycamore St by the soccer field.) Please park at the East Falls Chruch Metro parking lot. Directions to East Falls Church Metro: From I495, take 66 east and exit onto N. Sycamore ST. and follow signs to the Metro East Potomac Park (DC) 970 Ohio Dr SW Washington, DC 20024 (East Potomac Park Golf Course parking lot) From VA: Take I-95 N via the ramp to Washington then slight right at Henry G Shirley Memorial Hwy (signs for I-395 N/I-495 N/Washington/Tysons Corner) 1.6 mi , continue onto I-395 N and enter District of Columbia , take exit 2 toward Potomac Park/U.S Park Police, turn left at Buckeye Dr , take the 1st right onto Ohio Dr SW , turn right into parking lot. From DC or MD: US-50 W via the ramp to Washington, turn left at I-395, merge onto I-395 S via the ramp to Richmond , take the exit toward Potomac Park/Park Police, turn right at Ohio Dr SW 0.5 mi, turn right into parking lot. Bethesda 4801 Bethesda Avenue, Bethesda, MD‎ (Woodmont Parking Lot at the corner of Woodmont Ave and Bethesda Ave) From VA or DC: Take Beltway towards Rockville to Wisconsin Ave. South Exit. Follow Wisconsin Ave into downtown Bethesda. Turn right onto Bethesda Ave. Take left at the stop light onto Woodmont Ave. The Parking Lot is immediately on your right across from Barnes and Noble Book Store.

Welcome to DC FIT and congratulations for taking the first step to getting into better shape!

We are a marathon and half-marathon training program devoted to getting you in the best shape of your life in a non-intimidating and fun environment. When you join, you receive day-by-day training schedules, weekly gatherings with your group for your long run or walk, access to trained coaches, informational seminars, and a DCFit technical t-shirt.

Ask anyone who has gone the distance… There’s nothing like finishing a marathon! With DCFIT, you will get in better shape and become a stronger runner! And you can do it all in 26 weeks. Whether you are a couch potato, walker, casual jogger, or marathon veteran, this marathon training program is the most enjoyable, most inspiring and most efficient way to get in the best shape of your life.

If a marathon sounds like too big a goal. Come join us anyway. Some members join just to get in great shape and meet other people with similar Interests.

What We Have To Offer:

  • Location: Just 4 miles from the Pentagon! Benjamin Bannerker Park in Arlington, VA (East Falls Church Metro)
  • Training Program: Training programs for full and half marathon. Program is based on experience level (Beginner and Intermediate/ Advanced)
  • Coaching: Access to Knowledgeable and supportive coaches
  • Designated Pace Groups: Each pace group will be led by an Assistant Coach
  • 2 Minute Tip and Post-Run Seminars: 2 minute pre-run training tips and post-run full seminars on hydration, diet, injury prevention, running form, etc.
